A very special hike with a special guide. <\/sup><\/p>\n

We meet at the Sol e Mar restaurant and start our hike with a short walk through the village. <\/sup>Then begins the steep climb towards Raposeira. The path is wild, steep, and slippery in places\u2014but the higher we climb, the more impressive the view of Paul do Mar becomes.
\nKitty walks ahead, sometimes disappearing for a while, but always returning to check if we can keep up. She leads us through fields and meadows as we enjoy the silence, breathe in the fresh air, and discover the variety of flowers. Finally, we reach Raposeira, where old houses and friendly locals await us, always open for a little chat.
\nOur path takes us along a levada for a while before we switch to a newly constructed path towards Faj\u00e3 da Ovelha. The views are simply spectacular! Then we walk a short distance along the road \u2013 Kitty, now reluctantly on a leash, acts as if she hasn’t taken a single step.
\nFinally, we reach the starting point of our descent from Faj\u00e3 da Ovelha to Paul do Mar. In the warm sun, we walk downhill, always towards the sea. Once at the bottom, the water invites us to swim or enjoy a cool drink at the Bar da Praia. Kitty is greeted enthusiastically by the locals \u2013 and is still full of energy! <\/sup><\/p>\n

\nThe course takes place outdoors. The route is 9.24 km long and the highest point is 570 m. <\/sup><\/p>\n

Registration is possible 24 hours in advance. Payment must be made in advance, either via the website booking system or by individual arrangement. <\/sup><\/p>\n

\nIn case of inclement weather, the event may be canceled and the payment will be refunded. Parking is available on site. <\/sup><\/p>\n

She finally found her home in Paul do Mar, where she lived with two different owners until Lena \u2013 Yoga Lena do Mar \u2013 adopted her. Kitty loves to walk up the hiking trails to Prazeres or Faj\u00e3 da Ovelha. She has endless energy, knows her way around and will guide you safely along the most beautiful routes. Part of the proceeds will be donated to dog organizations in Madeira.
