Description
Imagine visiting a small fishing village on Madeira called Paul do Mar. Here, you not only have the opportunity to stroll along the sea, but also to discover the village from above, between the banana plantations. These paths along the levadas are actually only used by locals to get to their plantations and water the bananas, and are definitely an insider tip. I guarantee you’ll be impressed by the play of colors along the mountains and over the sea—it’s hard to decide which is more beautiful. Finally, we stop off at Bar de Pedra, a bar so special that even the locals from Funchal come here to enjoy the sunset with a drink.
